After Harvest

To ensure best quality mount,handle birds by the feet or bill . keep them in a place where they wont freeze to anything and pull or break feathers on THE way back home. once home wrap feet in wet paper towels ,tuck head against side or back of bird.proceed to wrap in ziplock freezer bags with as much air removed as possible. freeze until ready to drop off.
